Have you ever gazed up at the night sky and wondered about the beginning of time? Wondered if there is life out there and if we will ever find out? This class is intended for beginners to astronomy- those who are simply curious and in awe with all there is to know about the universe- and beyond! We will learn about the history of astronomy, and then look at some of the more recent findings that shed light on various objects that are in our universe- galaxies, nebula, black holes, dark energy! We will visit a planetarium and enjoy a special lecture too.
