The Supreme Court of the United States has made pivotal decisions that have shaped the lives of Americans. In this engaging camp, you will research famous cases that have transformed how we live and work in this country. You will select a case of your choice and present it in class, focusing on how you can leverage this knowledge to advocate for change in your community. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will travel to Washington, D.C., via the Metro to explore significant sites such as the Supreme Court and the United States Capitol Building. Please note that field trip locations may change based on museum and building closures. This camp session has been approved by MCPS for 10 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours, providing you with a valuable opportunity to engage with our nation’s history while earning service credits! Join us in partnership with Milner Educational Consulting and be part of this transformative experience!
