Planning Curricula for Child Care

This course provides you with principles of curriculum planning for programs serving children from infancy through age five. Activities, methods, and materials appropriate to the areas of curriculum in an early childhood program are emphasized. Attention is given to staff and parent communication and community resources. This course provides the second 45 of the 90 classroom hours needed to become a teacher in programs licensed by the MSDE Office of Child Care Licensing. Prerequisite: Students must complete Child Growth and Development prior to registering for this course.  (4.5 CEUs)
