AP Institute—World History

The College Board-endorsed AP Summer Institute course in AP World History provides new and experienced teachers with in-depth training, professional development, and teaching strategies. Participants engage in 30 hours of pedagogical and content rich training led by College Board-endorsed consultants; receive printed materials, including course outlines ; content related handouts, student samples, scoring guidelines, and commentary for the most recent AP World History Exam free-response questions. Certificates of Successful Completion and three (3) Continuing Education Units (CEU) provided at the conclusion of the institute; 30-hour attendance is required to earn the maximum number of CEUs.
