Have you experienced 'senior moments?' Struggled to remember where you placed your car keys, or experienced that 'tip of the tongue' feeling when trying to recall someone's name? Discuss what memory is and how it works. Learn new techniques on how to: remember what you did in the past; put names to faces; and remember lists, errands, or other things you need to do. Examine your individual learning style and the technique that works best for your style in order to improve your memory. Practice applying learned memory techniques to real life situations. This program originated with the UCLA Center on Aging and is taught by a Holy Cross Hospital memory specialist.
