Have you ever experienced “senior moments" where you walked into a room and forgotten why you went there, misplaced your keys, or struggled to recall someone's name? Explore how memory works and discover practical strategies to recall past events and experiences more easily, associate names with faces, remember lists, appointments, and daily tasks, and improve memory. Participants will identify their preferred learning style, practice evidence-based memory strategies, and apply these techniques to real-life situations to enhance everyday functioning. Originally developed by the UCLA Center on Aging, this program is taught by a Holy Cross Health Memory Specialist and provides valuable tools to help maintain and strengthen memory skills.
