What is the appeal of a discussion class in which participants share their reading experiences?  This course provides a community of readers who, guided by the instructor, have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with different types of literature. The instructor fosters an environment in which close, analytical reading of the text and mutual respect lead to a greater awareness of the text’s intentions.
