Spanish Foundations

Build a strong, practical foundation in Spanish while expanding your skills in everyday communication. This course welcomes true beginners and students with basic experience. Learn to spell, count, and use formal and informal greetings, while building vocabulary with articles and key verbs such as ser, estar, tener, ir, gustar, querer, and poder. Express future plans using ir, and gain confidence with common stem-changing and irregular verbs. Practice asking and answering questions for real-life situations—shopping, directions, household needs, transportation, and emergencies—while exploring cultural topics, idioms, and conversational Spanish. Textbook is required, please check the MC Bookstore for details.
