This course is designed to help students speak and comprehend everyday Spanish. Students should have completed Spanish I - Part 2 or Spanish Beginner Conversation. Emphasis is placed on real-life, practical situations, such as daily routines and other everyday contexts. Discuss the family and hobbies, describe an immediate surrounding, shopping, using public transport, or ordering food at a restaurant. Explore the use of basic verb tenses to refer to past or future events in a simple way. Fluency and the ability to communicate effectively are more important than perfect grammatical accuracy. Textbook is required. Please check the MC Bookstore for details regarding textbooks.
