Speak Up 2.0: Advocacy and Leadership in Action

Confident leaders speak up — and speak well. In this camp, you’ll explore how your voice connects to identity and leadership while strengthening your communication skills under pressure. Through advocacy projects, public speaking, and conflict resolution role-play, you’ll practice boundary-setting, respectful dialogue, and strategies for building trust. By the end, you’ll design your own Voice & Values Communication Toolkit—a resource to help you and your peers communicate with confidence, honesty, and respect. This camp has been approved by MCPS for 10 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. In partnership with KGH Leadership.
