AI Ready: Know It, Check It, Protect Yourself

 AI is part of many of the tools you use every day. In this hands-on course, you will learn how AI generates answers, how to write effective prompts, and how to determine whether AI information is accurate. Through interactive activities, you will practice fact-checking AI responses, protecting your personal information online, and exploring real-world careers that use AI. You will also complete a collaborative project and present how AI supports a profession while highlighting the importance of human oversight. Students who complete the course will earn a Montgomery College Digital Learning Center Certificate and a digital badge. No previous AI experience is required.
