Have you ever wondered what it really costs to own a car? You'll start the day by calculating the true monthly cost of car ownership, including loan payments, insurance, fuel, registration, and maintenance. You'll also explore how loan terms, interest rates, and down payments affect the total cost of financing a vehicle. In the afternoon, you'll take a FinancialField Trip® to a local Montgomery County car dealership, where sales and finance professionals will walk you through the vehicle purchasing process. You'll tour the showroom and finance office, learn about pricing, warranties, add-ons, and financing options, and have the opportunity to ask real-world questions about buying a car. By the end of the program, you'll complete a personalized car-budget worksheet and gain a practical understanding of how to finance and maintain a vehicle responsibly while avoiding costly financial mistakes. In partnership with Diapers 2 Deposits.
