Build on your sewing foundation by diving deeper into the use of the sewing machine. While hand-sewing is an important skill, machine-sewing powers most modern projects. Learn the application for basic machine-stitch patterns. Demystify tension settings for clean, tight stitches. Add linings for a polished product. Practice methods for accurate fabric cutting. Apply these skills to create useful household and wearable items. Prerequisite: ADS661 Sewing Basics or equivalent hand- and machine-sewing skills.
