Create collages using aqueous media (watercolor) as a unifying tool. Learn to think in mixed media and use simple design principles to create complex, unified artwork. Conceptualize and assemble compositions related to mythology, symbolism, fantasy, personal iconography, whimsy, and/or spiritual themes. There is no limit on the combined use of aqueous media: we will incorporate found objects, pen and ink, magazine clippings, colored and watercolor pencils, acrylic paints, pastel, pencil, and discarded paintings. Open to students of all levels.
