A continuation of the study of refrigeration, including the technician’s professional responsibilities of proper refrigerant handling techniques and certification, as well as an introduction to basic residential heating systems and their operation and components. Topics include recovering, recycling and charging refrigerant, natural gas and electric heating systems. The course is a preparation for the EPA Section 608 Technician Certification exam.
