America's National Forests

Step into the wild and journey across some of the most breathtaking landscapes in America’s national forests. From misty rainforests draped in moss to sunlit desert pines, from towering mountain ranges to the icy wilderness of Alaska, this course invites students to explore the beauty, diversity, and ecological importance of these natural treasures. Through guided readings, engaging videos, and in-class discussions, students will examine two national forests each week, gaining insight into their unique landscapes, wildlife, climates, and environmental significance.
