Writing for the Community

Calling all community-minded authors! Join us to create meaningful connections with your community while enhancing your writing skills. In this camp, you’ll write letters to various disenfranchised groups, such as veterans and the elderly, who could use a pick-me-up, all while honing your writing abilities. You’ll also improve your research skills by discovering which community groups need support. This camp promises to be educational, heartwarming, and practical! Plus, MCPS has approved this session for 10 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. Instructor: MC Faculty Member Jessica Hall.
