A Star is Born! Learn about the Life of Stars and Galaxies

Have you ever gazed up at the sky in wonder and awe? Wondered how stars, planets, and our own sun are different? Join us to learn the basics about how we have learned what is in the night sky as we learn about the history of astronomy. We will use telescopes to observe our own star, the sun!  Then we will explore the structure of stars, learn how scientists classify stars and find out what “kind” of star our sun is. We will delve into how galaxies form and find out how we know what we know about stars, galaxies, and the universe beyond. No science background needed!
