Embark on an exciting journey through some of Washington, DC's most remarkable art museums and exhibitions! You’ll travel by metro to visit the cultural wing of the Hirshhorn, the Renwick, the American Museum of Natural History, and the National Building Museum, including this year’s special art installation. Finally, you’ll return to the Mall to explore the Air and Space Museum. Throughout the week, you’ll discuss cultural themes and elements of art, such as color, texture, and shape, while taking advantage of museum educational programs. Be sure to bring your lunch and wear your walking shoes, as you’ll visit one museum each day. If museum schedules change, you may have the opportunity to explore other fascinating venues like the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Museum of American History, or the National Gallery of Art. Instructor: Jessica Hall, MC Faculty.
