Design is all around us! In this computer project-based course, you’ll become a creative problem solver, working with your peers to develop innovative design solutions. Dive into room design, color theory, cost estimation, and even practice essential interviewing skills. This fast-paced course introduces you to the technical knowledge needed across various design fields and gives you a real-world overview of what it’s like to work in the interior design industry. We’ll cover the latest in energy innovations, Smart Home technology, Universal Design, green design, and accessibility while exploring current trends in the industry. You’ll also have the opportunity to design for different community needs—such as creating accessible kitchens or shelters for individuals with physical challenges.
