It's a Museum City

Explore the most remarkable art museums and exhibitions in Washington, DC, let alone the world! Travel by metro to the cultural wing of The Hirschhorn, The Renwick, The American Museum of Natural History, The National Building Museum, including access to this year’s special art installation, and, finally, back to the Mall to the Air and Space Museum. We will discuss cultural themes and elements of art such as color, texture and shape, and take advantage of museum educational programs. Bring your lunch and wear your walking shoes as we will visit one museum a day for a week. In the event of museum schedule changes, we may consider visiting other museums, such as the National Museum of African American History and Culture, The Museum of American History, or The National Gallery of Art.
