Writing for the Community

Calling all community-minded authors:  Come combine creating connections to your community while improving your writing skills.   In this camp, you will write letters to different groups of disenfranchised people that could use a pick-me-up such as veterans and/or the elderly while working on different writing skills.  Research skills will also be improved by discovering which groups of people in the community need support. This will be educational, heartwarming, and practical! MCPS has approved this camp session for 10 Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. Instructor: MC Faculty Member Jessica Hall
