Methods of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

This course is designed to prepare students to become teachers of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/ESL). An investigaton of traditional and contemporary techniques, methods and approaches of teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) will be provided through readings, lectures, guided discussions, demonstrations, classroom observations, presentations, reflections and the preparation of a lesson plan.
